- Born a Slavic immigrant, you'd never guess how I got a job in Northeast, PA. Luckily this isn't the case. Basically lived in the area my entire life going to Crestwood Highschool and finishing up at LCCC. Got into radio by total accident through a friend at LCCC who told me to come on his show one day and there the Lazy E was born. Towards the end of the college career, in '04, I got an internship here and basically got the job by refusing to leave.
I know it's not exactly your format, but I've been in love with this song forever. Good job to whoever put this in your rotation. c:
ReplyDeleteEric, From Seattle, WA listening in online to 979X! Was glad to hear the Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man. I am Active Duty Navy, and a fellow shipmate of mine suggested we watch the YouTube video of the song about 2 weeks back. He is from Boston and very into the Irish scene, and let me say I was very impressed when I heard the song, and def. is kickass that my favorite radio station from back home is now playing it on the radio! 979X ROCKS!

ReplyDelete979X Rocks! Miss all the friends and family from back in PA! Keep on Rockin! Let me just tell you, I've traveled everywhere in this lovely country of ours and have yet to find a solid rock station with as cool as DJ's and music as 979X!
