David Grohl + Corey Taylor = Awesome Song
You've heard me talk about it, David Grohl's new super group, Grohl's Sound City Players will be hitting the road tomorrow night in Utah and then again on the 31st in L.A. with more dates to follow.
So far, on the air, you've only heard one track called Cut Me Some Slack with the surviving members of Nirvana and Paul McCartney. Well tonight I played you a snip-it of a song featuring Corey Taylor titled From Can to Can't. I didn't play the whole thing because legally I can't.
But no one said I couldn't post it online.
My Manti Te'o Tribute song
As you all know by now, Manti Te'o has quite an interesting story line going on and I wanted to pay tribute to the Notre Dame Linebacker with a song.

Adam Gontier's Letter to the Fans
It's sick to think someone would make up rumors that he left the Three Days Grace because of a relapse. Luckily Adam handled it perfectly in this letter.
“To all of my fans, my friends, my family, these are my words coming from my heart, separate from my role as “lead singer of Three Days Grace”.
I want you all to know how very thankful I am for your consistent love, your respect, and you’re undying support. It is important for me to address any concerns regarding my health being connected to drugs or addiction. The truth is, when I was struggling during that dark time in my life, I hit rock bottom, and I had the kindest of people reach out from all over the world, and reach their hands out to help pick me up. I am so blessed to be walking in the light now. I am reminded of your loyalty, always. The truth is, and I’m very proud to say this…, I am sober. That chapter in my life is over.
There have been many defining moments in my life. My time as part of Three Days Grace is most definitely one of the miraculous ones. I have had so many tender hearted people share with me their stories. How I’ve touched, or changed their lives. My truth is that all of the love I have received has forever changed my life. Each letter I’ve read, every picture I’ve been sent, all of the voices I’ve heard sing along with me, I will forever remember, and never forget…
After twenty years of being part of an ever evolving band, I have been inspired by life, to move on and to continue to evolve on my own terms. I could not be more grateful for all the souls who have travelled along with me. A journey I look back on with integrity, and a future I look forward to with such hope. I have always admired brave hearts. Life is always changing. I will continue to follow my heart, and what I love to do. I’m not sure what the next horizon will look like, but I do have all the faith in the world that whatever it is, It’s meant to be, and I have faith that blessings will continue to shine over all of us. I once heard a “brave heart” say:
“When nothing is sure, everything is possible.”
It’s because of my life’s journey, because of all of you, that I believe.
Sincerely, with love,
Adam”
Stuck it to the man
Today our wonderful company decided it was necessary to post signs up on the bathroom letting us know washing with water alone does not fight germs and to use soap as well.
I know, it's like we're in third grade.
Well I decided to make a little mockery of it and I took a picture just in case someone tears it down.

Three Days Grace's Lead Singer Has LEFT THE BAND
Big news in the rock world today, lead singer of Three Day's Grace, Adam Gontier, has resigned from the band, citing health problems.
Here's a quote from bassist, Brad Walst.
“We were surprised and distressed by stepping in as lead singer.Adam’s sudden departure. We are however very excited for this upcoming tour and to have my brother Matt ”
The Matt he's referring to is Matt he's referring to is the lead singer from My Darkest Days. The band posted up a couple samples, so you could hear what he would sound like on vocals. Give'em a try.

Dave Mustaine HATES the Men's Warehouse
If you didn't hear during my show tonight, Dave Mustaine is pissed at the Men's Warehouse.
This all stems from a gift he bought that was never sent to his tour manager. Mustaine went to Facebook to mouth off
“I really think that it sucks when people make false claims, that they don’t
care to make good on a problem that is clearly their fault, and with all of the
‘ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE IT’ crap I just had to say something,” wrote Mustaine.
The singer adds that he’s so upset with the company that he “will never set
foot in a Men’s Warehouse, even for shelter from a blizzard.”
Now the band is in the midst of writing their 14th album and I wondered if one of the songs will now sound like this
Rex Ryan's Weird Tatooo

The Lazy E Lounge featuring Green Day
Figured since Green Day flaked on making up the show at the Arena, they would be this week's victim of the Lazy E Lounge.
The guys did a rousing rendition of When I Come Around
